Maximum Goaltending was founded in 2026 to provide specialized goalie coaching and personalized training services to help goalies, goalie parents, and teams reach their maximum potential.
We focus on teaching our goalies to build simple, repeatable habits that hold up under pressure. We teach the process behind every save, helping goalies to understand why they do what they do. Mistakes are treated as information, effort is expected, and progress is built through consistency.
Mike Greguol, Founder
Maximum Goaltending founder Mike Greguol has over 20 years of combined playing and coaching experience. His playing career was spent in Kitchener, Ontario, where he played AAA, AA, and A as a goalie with the Kitchener Jr. Rangers before beginning his coaching career in high school serving as a Varsity Girl’s goalie coach.
While at St. Francis Xavier University he coached U16 and U18 goalies, helping coach his U18A Antigonish Bulldogs to a Nova Scotia Provincial Championship.
Since 2021 he has coached with Strathroy District Minor Hockey Association, worked for various goalie schools assisting with clinics, camps, and private lessons, and has offered specialized private goalie coaching services.
Mike is currently the Goalie Coach for the Strathroy Rockets of the Greater Ontario Hockey League (GOHL) where he works with elite goaltenders.
